​Scholarship Information

​2020 AIA FLORIDA SOUTHWEST SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The AIA Florida Southwest chapter will provide financial assistance to students enrolled in either a Bachelor of Architecture program or Masters of Architecture program.

• One, $2500 scholarship is awarded to a student attending or about to attend an NAAB-accredited professional degree in Architecture or a college student already enrolled in a similar program
• Two, $1500 scholarships is awarded to student attending or about to attend an NAAB-accredited professional degree in Architecture or a college student already enrolled in a similar program
• Three, $1000 scholarships is awarded to student attending or about to attend an NAAB-accredited professional degree in Architecture or a college student already enrolled in a similar program
• Three or more, $500 scholarships is awarded to student attending or about to attend an NAAB-accredited professional degree in Architecture or a college student already enrolled in a similar program

WHO CAN APPLY
Applicant must be a permanent Florida resident, enrolled and/or attending a full-time a degree program at an NAAB accredited college of university, who is majoring in Architecture in the USA

Applicant must be a graduate of a Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades county, Florida public or Charter School Applicant is in need of financial assistance Applicant demonstrates academic excellence and outstanding design talent and has a 3.0 GPA or higher when applying

WHEN TO APPLY/ DEADLINE
Completed application packages must be received no later than JUNE 28, 2020 for the academic year beginning in August, 2020 Recipients will be announced at our annual AIRFLOW ceremony in August 2020, awardees must attend event

ALL APPLICATIONS AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN SUNDAY JUNE 28. 2020​
